17% silica-alumina gel is a kind of fine-pore water-resistant silica-alumina gel. It is generally used as a protective layer for fine-pore silica gel and fine-pore silica-alumina gel. It can also be used alone when the content of free water (liquid water) is high. When the operating system contains liquid water, the use of this product can also achieve a relatively low dew point.
It is mainly used for air drying in the process of air separation; acetylene adsorption in the preparation process of liquid ammonia and liquid nitrogen; drying of compressed air and various industrial gases; as liquid adsorbent and catalyst carrier in petrochemical, electric industry, brewing and other industries ;Used as a protective layer for ordinary silica gel and silica-alumina glue.
When this product is used as a protective layer, its dosage is about 20% of the total amount used.
